Tour de France legend Steven Rooks to ride the BeOne Forest of Dean Classic Sportive

The Dutchman finished runner up and King of the Mountains jersey winner in the 1988 Tour de France winning the prestigious L’Alpe d’Huez stage along the way. Rooks also won several Classics in his career, including Liège–Bastogne–Liège, and a handful of week-long stage races. Now retired from professional cycling, he is a BeOne official test rider and brand ambassador and still involved with cycling. More importantly, he still rides his bike and is looking forward to coming to the UK to ride the BeOne Forest of Dean Classic powered by Chain Reaction Cycles.

Wheels in Wheels and the Raleigh Professional Cycling Team

From the 31st Jan to 11 Feb 2011 the Raleigh Professional Cycling Team enjoyed two weeks on the island of Mallorca as Wheels in Wheels facilitated and organised the smooth running of their pre season training camp. Using the Hotel Santa Ponsa as their main base and with the help of Wheels in Wheels Events, the team managed to take advantage of all the island had to offer, making their trip a valuable team building and training experience in preparation for the 2011 calendar.
