Weather getting you down? |
Wheels in Wheels Events plan to bring a little cheer in to 2011 with our classic series of events plus a little something special to add to the mix.

Sunshine can’t be guaranteed but our specialised sportive camps on the beautiful island of Majorca will ensure the season kicks off to a brilliant start.
2011 brings an addition to our established Majorcan based camps with a 2 centre option using the well established Duva Aparthotel and our new partner Club Santa Ponsa in the South West of the Island, which offers many new routes and is open all year around.
Our camps from 14th March to 4th April offer a great opportunity to make up for lost miles this winter and will suit all abilities from top road racers to tourist alike. Our Island based team of professional coaches can help train you to race fitness or allow you just to get those all important endurance miles in all with our exclusive “Ride like a Pro” back up at all times. We can also bespoke a camp to suit your club or team’s ambitions and these can start from the end of January and take in rides to the Professional Majorcan Challenge in early February.
The 2-day Duva International Sportive has now become the centre of a Sportive fortnight with an additional 3 new Majorcan sportives to tune up those miles for your return to the UK and the top European classic sportives. This will include the only chance to climb the famous Puig Major mountain from sea level to the very top using the rarely opened Military 7km road to the summit.
We will again offer a fully supported camp over this period and transfers to each event as part of our packages.

New for 2011 is our first London to Paris ride June 14th to 19th inclusive to help raise funds for the SSAFA charity and will offer an great trip for all abilities and we will offer a full training schedule with inclusive rides in our Richardsons Rumble and Pain on the Plain events as part of your training programme. We won’t ask you to pester your friends and colleagues for sponsorship as one price covers all.

Wheels in Wheels Events are to help organise the new CTC Challenge rides in 2011, with 5 rides including the Phil Liggett Challenge and the Ron Kitching ride plus 2 specific Ladies Challenge Sportive rides to complete the series. www.ctcchalengerides.co.uk .
