DUVA FINAL INSTRUCTIONS
Welcome to the 3rd Duva International Sportive held on the beautiful island of Mallorca on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th of April 2010.
Registration will be on Thursday and Friday night from 17.00 to 19.00 in the Siller Rooms (Sala Siller) at the Duva Aparthotel which is situated on the edge of Port de Pollenca (see map), and 1 hour before the start each day.

When registering look for your number either alphabetical or numerical on the lists posted, before signing on and collecting your numbers, timing chips, presentation passes and goody bag. Please display your number on the front handlebars, (as displayed at registration); this is for photographer identification and official recognisation.
Please note the Sportive or Cicloturista is run under Spanish Federation rules and is totally controlled by the Police at all times.
The Police will operate a rolling road closure backed up by the local motorcycle escort group, and the peloton will remain intact until we reach the timed sections. The speed will be dictated by the police and lead car, but will not exceed a speed that breaks up the peloton.
At each timed section you will then be allowed to ride at whatever pace you can or wish to, please note that we advise everyone rides to the right in case vehicles creep onto the route and drive towards the oncoming riders on these timed sections. After each timed section there is a feed stop or where the peloton regroups before continuing on the ride, these will be for 10-30mins each time.
The feeds will have High5 products and fruit and water.
Saturday start will be outside the Duva Hotel at 09.00 and the route can be found on the website and the routometer is also listed.
Sunday’s start will be the same place but at 09.30.
There will be a back up vehicle and mechanical assistance with full medical support at all times.
The Presentation and Paella party will be held in the Duva Sports complex 2 hours after the finish on Sunday.
Please note those riders who entered for both days will have free entry, Those entered on Sunday only will be asked to pay 3 Euros and partners and friends will be charged 7.50 Euros.
These tickets can be purchased at signing on or at the Duva Reception any time during the week preceding.
